Biography
Award-winning artist recognized for her touching works, Nathalie Lapointe comes from the Lanaudière region, just outside Montreal, Canada.
Her style and artistic signature are in constant evolution, driven by both technical and aesthetic exploration. Always aiming to create works described as visual poetry, she does not anchor herself to any particular style or subject, but has preferred since 2009 to let inspiration guide her professional journey. Through the Quebec symposium circuit, she has rubbed shoulders with several generations of artists and art enthusiasts who have each, in their own way, enriched her art.
A Signature Member of the Canadian Federation of Artists (SFCA) and Oil Painters of America (OPA), Nathalie has also been featured in magazines such as Plein Air, American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, Art Avenue, and Magazin’Art. A university graduate in French and history education, visual art is part of a journey in which the idea of timeless communication develops — where the narrative thread of each work finds its resolution in the eye of the beholder. Her oil paintings are an introspection in which light and emotion share the leading role.
