In his latest collection entitled “Suppen”, Miguel Vallinas has recreated everything we remember, what we desire, feel or imagine. Like many children, Miguel Vallinas did not like soup. Miguel Vallinas revisits them today, making them colourful, attractive and funny. For Miguel Vallinas, the Suppen series is actually a play where the plate is the stage. A stage in which realities are reflected but at the same time utopias, children’s dreams that we miss today, that seem to be inaccessible to us nowadays.
